Japan’s most refreshing band, Cider Girl! A multi-talented band that also produces Nico Nico Douga!

Cider Girl is a three-member band with a refreshing sound. Originally, each of the members had been performing music on the Internet, such as “Nico Nico Douga”, and they were also popular as individuals. Since the band is made up of members who are all accomplished in their own right, they perform at a fast pace.

Yurin, the vocalist and guitarist, is also active on Nico Nico Douga as the singer ‘Yurin’. The guitarist Tomo is a Vocaloid P “Ramune” and the bassist Fujimura is a Vocaloid P “moff”, showing their multi-talented skills.

All three members are able to write lyrics and compose music, which is one of Cider Girl’s great strengths.

As the band’s name suggests, Cider Girl has a lot of refreshing music. The song　ドラマチック “Dramatic,” in particular, is a must-listen! It’s a pleasant listen, with a tune that suits the piercing sound and light, plus the soft voice of vocalist Yurin.

Also, “Overdrive,” the lead track from the third mini-album, “Diorama Insider,” is also the most refreshing. The bass sounds heavy, but the small guitar ticks add a lightness to the song, and the overall effect is a bright, carbonation-popping tune.

The music video, which features high school girls in school uniforms, is also resonating with my generation. For a generation that has been out of high school for a long time, it’s a dazzlingly adolescent feel that will make them feel cute.

In August 2016, they performed at large festivals such as the ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL and RUSH BALL. At this time, it was before their major label debut, but it was a stage that made the ears of rock lovers as well as fans of the Nico Nico Douga era roar.

With such refreshing music, Cider Girl has a thorough and steady attitude. This is a band you won’t want to miss out on in the future!
