Gesu-no Kiwami Otome is a mixed foursome band self-titled “ HipHop ProgressiveRock Band”. Since they participated in Kohaku(annual contest between male and female popular singers on New Year’s Eve sponsored and broadcast by NHK) in 2015, almost all people in Japan should know them.

After the spousal cheating troubles of the vocalist of Gesu-no Kiwami Otome and an actress was flared up, some people might not have a good impression of them, but their music sense is the one and only. They originally belonged to other bands. It all started when members entered a studio room on the spur of the moment, they formed a band as a result of just going with the flow but this episode well describes what they are like.

Besides, its unique group name is named on the spur of the moment as well. Gesu-no Kiwami Otome was written on the bag which a keyboardist, Chan MARI, had at that time, and they decided to make it their name! They have plenty of eccentric episodes.

Those who have an overwhelming presence in Gesu-no Kiwami Otome is Enon KAWATANI, a vocalist and guitarist. He does not only write every word and songs of 5 bands he belongs to, but also offers other artists. He surprisingly finishes making songs within 30 minutes!

The most popular song amongst their song is “ Watashi-igai Watashi-ja Nai-no”. Vocal, guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and drummer, all players have a powerful presence in the song but well organized. Even more the profoundness of the lyrics, you will be attracted by the peculiar melody line and the performance of the instruments!

In passing, the drummer, Hona-Ikoka is active as an actress. Her beautiful eyes let her had a massive presence in music videos.

Although the name of this band sounds slightly negative, they were so talented that they were meant to be sold.
