LAMP IN TERREN

LAMP IN TERREN is a four-piece rock band that has been active since 2007. Many of LAMP IN TERREN’s fans also like BUMP OF CHICKEN, and it seems that they have a lot in common in their music.

They are regulars at the ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL and in 2016, they released the single “innocence / Caravan”, which was written for the theme song of “劇場第2部亜人-衝突- Gekizyou Dai Ni bu Azin -Syoutotsu-“. This single was his first single after his major label debut. Many people may have come to know LAMP IN TERREN after seeing Ajin.

LAMP IN TERREN’s most appealing feature is probably the strong voice of vocalist Matsumoto.  Even though many of the lyrics are literary and fragile, he has a core voice that makes you want to listen to him in your ear.

In the past, Matsumoto has come under fire for communicating with a female fan, and some people may have an image of LAMP IN TERREN or Matsumoto as a flaming band.

For those who don’t have a good image of the band, the song “緑閃光 (Ryokusen Kou =Greeen Flash)” is the one you should listen to; it’s from their major label debut album “silver lining” released in 2015, and the slow-tempo intro is soothing.

The vocals are sexy and husky, but have a core, and yet it feels like it’s well-depressed. The guitar sound is also beautiful and melodious, taking advantage of the slow tempo, and if you listen to this song, you’ll probably fall in love with LAMP IN TERREN.

LAMP IN TERREN is a band that sticks to their classic rock style, and we can’t wait to see what they do in the future!

It’s a really beautiful video and a beautiful song!

I cried when they held hands at the end.

Listening to this song makes me want to jump into the future with all my might. It also helps me to accept the fact that my thoughts are rapidly changing from the person I was when I was little, a few years ago and last year.
