indigo la end|Another band of Ennon Kawatani from Gesu no Kiwami Otome

indigo la end

indigo la end is a four-piece band formed in 2010. Enon KAWATANI from Gesu-no Kiwami Otome is the main member of this band. Their signature is their expressive lyrics, and widely known as a hit-maker of heartbreak songs.

The talent of Enon KAWATANI: doing a few bands including Gesu-no Kiwami Otome, also offering songs to other artists knows boundaries. He is making songs which touches every person who has a broken heart, or those who have a crush on somebody as a member of Indigo la end.

Every song is wonderful, but we recommend ”さよならベル (Sayonara Bell)”. It has a light tune which makes us rejuvenated from heartbreaking.

Painful lyrics like「起きたらまた上手くいくよな」( “everything will be okay when i woke up again”), 「ああ、目が覚めたら君はい

い」(“ ah, you won’t be there even if i woke up”) are in this song, but the lightness of tune reduce the sadness from the song and let us listen exhilaratingly.

Well, back to the background of this band, indigo la end was formed before Gesu-no Kiwami Otome was. Both are often compared, and some people say it’s just if they have a keyboard or not. But it is not as simple as they think.

While the intensity of songs that play hip hops and progressive rock is a feature of Gesu-no Kiwami Otome, indigo la end is mainly singing about the painfulness of love. A big fan says that the essence of Enon KAWATANI can be seen at indigo la end more than Gesu-no Kiwami Otome.

Since indigo la end has been becoming popular, they sometimes perform at the same stage as Gesu-no Kiwami Otome. It is frightfully happy for fans that they can see two of bands at the same event.

Enon Kawatani who is expressing what he wants to do by using different characters of his bands should be a genius for music in the 21st century. Don’t miss it out!

Maybe it’s strange to compare Gesu (abbreviation of Gesu no Kiwami Otome) and indigo, but Gesu makes me want to dance and just have fun, but indigo la end makes me get emotionally involved and makes me sad, happy and soothed. I wonder if the atmosphere, the way of hearing and the way of listening to the songs are so different even though they were written and sung by the same person. It’s so different in atmosphere, in the way you listen to it, and in the way you listen to it. And I love it.

When it comes to heartbreak songs, indigo la End is the most absorbing.

It’s a pretty amazing experience to be able to enjoy a song when you can’t even understand the language their speaking. Literally just listening for the pure sound and emotion in the music.

I’ve always wanted to listen to this when I drive around at night if I ever get a boyfriend. Wouldn’t it be crazy emo if I listened to this in the car with the wind blowing in my face? I don’t have a boyfriend, but…

I’m glad I came across this song as well.

I think Kawatani Eon, who can have an affair and create a lot of great works, is the Dazai Osamu of the music world.

Lyrics that can only be applied to someone who is truly in painful love…

I’m glad that there are a few foreign peeps here listening to indigo la end. Their music is just so good for the ears. Hope you guys have a nice day!
