bonobos

Bonobos is a five-piece band formed in 2001. Although their music is close to jazz and funk, you can’t put them in one genre.

Take the song “Arpeggio,” for example! There are cool saxophone sound and a jazz vibe to it, but there’s also a progressive complexity to it with its oddball rhythms. It’s refreshing, but it’s also mature and sexy, with a unique musical style.

Formed in 2001 by vocalist/guitarist Chunho Cai, bonobos made their major debut in 2003, but a series of member departures led to a near disbanding of the band.

Nevertheless, what allowed Cai Chung-Ho to launch the new bonobos was the unique sense of union that is unique to the bonobos. The band was originally a three-piece band, but it was a band that flexibly changed shape to fit the music, including the inclusion of wind instruments, so it was never a “supremacy of the original members”.

Nevertheless, Koike Ryuhei, who joined the band as a new member, had a conflict in his mind. That is, Koike, who normally uses a gut guitar, had to switch to an electric guitar. Cai saw him playing electric guitar and invited Koike to join him, but he didn’t really want to play jazz on the electric guitar.

Koike was confused by the idea of playing an unaccustomed electric guitar in front of thousands of people, but that feeling quickly turned into a feeling of pleasure. He is now a core member of the bonobos.

The 2016 album by the newborn bonobos, “23 Wards”, is an album that further explores the essence of the bonobos. If you’re talking about the future of the music scene, it’s a must-listen to.

One of the most popular songs on “23 Wards” is “Cruisin’ Cruisin'”. It’s a song that you’ll want to listen to in a relaxed evening, and it’s a very mature song that sounds like the bonobos.

The bonobos have had a tremendous amount of offensive momentum over the past few years. They’re enjoying the changes with aplomb. It’s too cool.

Even when I heard it live, it was complex and bizarre! I was shocked to hear that, but it’s still amazing to hear it again on the soundtrack…
What’s their destination? And I can’t wait for the new album!

soooooo cooooool!!

Seven years before I became a mom, I made my 0 year old daughter listen to it and sing it every day. And when that daughter turned 7 years old and I played this song to her for the first time in 7 years, I knew it! I remember! I said. I was so happy. I knew that song was going to be good.

A masterpiece that has not faded at all after nearly 15 years, but has grown even better.

It makes me feel nostalgic.
